Unacceptable: A Microsoft Word Zine

MS Word has no respect for your needs or desires.

I have had to work with MS Word for my entire educational career and there seems to be no alternative to this upsetting word processor.

If you have ever tried to insert an image or a table on word, then you know how unpleasant this can be. So I thought I’d reclaim this experience and try to use every strange visual function that word offers to its users by making a Microsoft Word Zine.

I made the zine while I was writing my ‘board paper’ which is a proposal you have to write at the end of your first year as a PhD. I was feeling very stressed out by how unusable this word processor is. Doing visual research and trying to present it by using word is a nightmare.

We need a better future for all writers.

Abolish Word.
